THE CONCEPT:
Antelope Canyon is tricky to photograph!! Since the canyon is on Navajo land, the only way to see the it is with a guided tour, and no tripods are allowed. So I had to crank up my ISO in order to be able to get a short enough shutter speed to hand hold all the photos inside this dark dark canyon. For some of my images my ISO was cranked up to 25,000!! I had to use Topaz DeNoise in my post-processing to smooth out the worst of the noise in my images.
THE STORY:
Antelope Canyon had been on my bucket list for many many years, after seeing so many awesome photos from other photographers. So as we were planning our trip out west, I made sure to put in a stop in Page, Arizona on our way from Arizona to Utah in order to check this one off my bucket list. WORTH IT!! What an incredible afternoon spent touring this magnificent canyon!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!
