THE CONCEPT:
This beautiful photograph of Bryce Canyon National Park captures the dramatic hoo-doos and striking desert colors of the American Southwest. Taken near Sunrise point, this image showcases the iconic rock formations of Bryce Canyon, in rich colors of oranges, yellows, and the greens of the foliage in the canyon.
THE STORY:
As part of our adventure to see The Big 5 national parks of Utah, of course Bryce Canyon National Park was on our list. We hiked all around the trails and enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful views into the canyon. Bryce Canyon is a small national park, but it sure is beautiful! The hoo-doos and spires are so interesting – formed by wind and water erosion over millions of years. I love this image for the colorful hoo-doos as well as the leading lines of the dead tree branches in the foreground. Too see more of my images from the Utah national parks, visit my Utah gallery.
