Fall In The Smoky Mountains
Join me as we enjoy and photograph the gorgeous Fall colors of The Smoky Mountains! This all-day tour will begin at sunrise – we’ll meet at The Sugarlands Visitor Center at 6:30 am. We’ll head up Newfound Gap Road to our sunrise location. From there we will travel into North Carolina with stops at overlooks along the way. We’ll stop at Mingus Mill and then on to Oconaluftee Visitor Center to see, hear and photograph the Elk rut. On our way back over the mountain back to Gatlinburg, we’ll stop at gorgeous river views with trees in full fall color (my favorite!). You’ll learn how to photograph the silky, flowing water with slow shutter speeds. We’ll cap off the day photographing the sunset at iconic Morton Overlook in The Smokies. Sunset is approximately 6:45 so we should be all finished by 7:00. Please pack a portable breakfast/lunch. Dinner will be on your own.
