These one-on-one mentoring sessions are all about YOU! You will be learning from Carol, who has been a professional photographer for 20 years! Each session includes shoot time together, where Carol will work with you one-on-one to teach you about your chosen topic. Some topics you may choose will include:
* DSLR Basics – learn how f-stop, shutter speed and ISO all work together so you can shoot in Manual Mode
* Composition Basics – the rule of thirds, leading lines, and other composition rules
* What makes a great photograph – how exposure, composition and mood all work together to make meaningful photos
* Macro photography (flowers are my favorite!)
* Developing your style
* Post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop (I have been a Photoshop user for more than 18 years!)
* Developing a workflow for your images
*Portraiture – I owned and operated a very successful portrait business specializing in newborns, children, families and high school seniors in the Chicago suburbs for 12 years. Let’s talk business!!!
* Stock – how to shoot, keyword, and upload images for stock sites. I shoot stock for Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty, Dreamstime and others.
These sessions will begin with a discussion of exactly what you want to accomplish during our time together, and will then be fully customized to you and your learning needs. I am a diverse photographer, having owned a portrait studio for 12 years before traveling the USA and branching out into landscape/nature and stock photography. In my portrait studio I photographed newborns, children, families and high school seniors (my favorite subject!) in studio and in natural light. Now I shoot stock photography for Getty, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Dreamstime and 123RF, as well as selling nature/landscape photos on Fine Art America. Whatever your interest is, I can help you!

* $100 an hour, billed in full at time of booking for $200
* Save 10% by booking a weekday session!
~FOUR HOUR SESSION~
*Choose two subjects from the list above to concentrate on
*$90 an hour, billed in full at time of booking for $360

~ALL DAY SESSION~
*Spend all day (up to 8 hours) together in and around The Smokies (or location of your choosing)
*$80 an hour, billed in full at time of booking for $640
